Adult Bible Study

Ongoing biblical studies before morning worship, from 9:00 to 9:50.The study group is led by Harl Ryder.

 

 

 

 

 

Beneficent Academy

The Academy is an adult study series held each fall and spring on Wednesday evenings.

5:00 - 5:50pm Tai Chi Class
6:00 - 6:50pm Supper
6:50 - 7:00pm Worship: Scripture, Prayer & Hymn Singing
7:10 - 8:30pm Class - The Practice of Forgiveness

About "The Practice of Forgiveness"

A class in the spiritual practice of forgiveness. Forgiveness is an empowering and liberating process through which we can find relief from burdensome emotional baggage and healing for our relationships. In this five- week class, we will learn a concrete, step-by-step process for uncovering an injury, understanding its nature, and deciding for forgiveness.

Women's Guild Book/Film Club

BookshelfThe Beneficent Book & Video Club gathers on the third Monday of each month to share food, perspectives on current book titles and view film adaptations.

The group's next meeting is tentativley scheduled for June 21st at 9:30 a.m.

 

 

 

Women's Guild

tea pot and cupsEveryone is invited to these periodic gatherings throughout the church year. Meetings are generally held at noon on the first Friday of each month and include a catered lunch followed by a program.

The Women's Guild last met on May 7th for their annual spring luncheon. David Schwartz, of Schwartz Tree & Landscape, was the special guest, sharing stories and photos of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly", based on images of flowers, trees and landscapes he has photographed while out and about working.

The Guild will be on haitus for the summer. Check back for details on their autumn gathering.
