Use this online calendar to learn about upcoming worship services, meetings, and events sponsored by the Beneficent community. All worship services and most events are free and open to the public; committee meetings are limited to members.

In August 2019, my daughter and I left everything we knew and moved to Rhode Island. We were sadly aware that we were now over an hour away from family and from our church community. Two Sundays passed in our new home before we ventured into the large building downtown with the big dome. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Joyous music lifted our hearts...then we heard the greeting. My daughter moved in close and whispered, "we found a church home."

Beneficent has been my spiritual family for many years, and I love that its members and friends accept and support me as I am, even as I make my, at times, clumsy-fumbling way along the path Jesus blazed.

Each Sunday I would submit prayer request for the trials and tribulations I was facing, and all my prayers have been answered this past year because of the dedicated group prayers held at Beneficent Church and our Higher Power answering them.
