Space & Parking

Sharing Our Space

Another way Beneficent Church seeks to serve the community is by sharing the use of our resources. Located as we are in downtown Providence, our church offers affordable rental space for meetings and events, as well as weekday and event parking for those who come to the city.

If you’re interested in any of these services, read more below. Please contact the Beneficent Church Office at office@beneficentchurch.org with any questions.”

Meeting and Event Space

Beneficent’s campus includes a variety of meeting rooms that are available for your group to gather once, as needed, or on a recurring basis.
Our large multipurpose spaces are
suitable for everything from a wedding ceremony with 400 guests to an awards ceremony with 150 attendees to an all-day event with breakout sessions.

Daytime Parking

During the weekday, most of our parking lot is available for those who work in the area.
The monthly parking rate is $150 which gives you access from 6am to 6pm on weekdays. (Note that overnight parking is not permitted.)

Event Parking

For most performances at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), theatergoers can park at Beneficent Church’s parking lot.
Located just a block from the theater, our convenient parking lot exits onto Chestnut Street to minimize traffic congestion. We also occasionally rent parking spots for other large citywide events.

Weddings at Beneficent

Share your special day and get married in our beautiful historic space.

We are a very diverse congregation, welcoming and accepting all who enter our doors. Beneficent not only talks the talk but walks the walk! This is why I love Beneficent and happily continue to worship, serve the congregation, and practice my faith.

Irene Hope

My husband and I are very happy to be a part of the Beneficent Church family, in this day and age of marriage equality and acceptance of all God’s people. A blanket of love was found here. In our 25 years together we have searched Rhode Island for a spiritual home and found Beneficent to be genuine, accepting us and our “Lady Lucy” (miniature Schnauzer/West Highland Terrier) for who we are.

Michael and Bill, and Lucy, too

I was looking for a place I could feel whole, and my search was over once I began attending Beneficent Church. I am very grateful for each brother and sister who attends because it wouldn’t be as welcoming and loving without them.
